Now what?

Deferred as an EA applicant with a 3.6 weighted GPA and 2150 SAT combined. Good references. Eagle scout. Grades have been all over the map; good freshman year, poor sophomore year (lots of stuff happening), better junior year, about a 4.0 weighted.

Had a poor first semester senior year. Poorer than sophomore year. Who knows why but there it is.

Applying EA was a mistake as I could have applied ED elsewhere and avoided the disasterous effects of first semester.

What can be done if anything to enhance the chance of admission in the RD pool I start this knowing that the odds are not good for deferred EA candidates.

i think your better off talking to a college or guidance counselor about something like this. they would probably be able to give you the best advice. but i would say try to contact admissions as much as possible without becoming a nuisance and try to show them how interested you are in BC. a mailed in letter might have the best effect. that was my backup plan if i was deferred in december. just show the school how much you want to attend and you will give yourself the best chance you possibly can for acceptance
