I applied for the NROTC-Navy Option National High School Scholarship this year. My application was completely done by October 15, 2016, and I was boarded shortly thereafter. I have not been awarded a scholarship yet, as of today 12-11-16. 4 NROTC Navy Option boards have met at this point, and I believe there are 7-8 more boards that will meet until sometime in March or April(?). Anyway, my major is Tier I -Electrical Engineering. My 5 college choices are: University of Michigan, Miami of Ohio, Marquette University, Purdue-West Lafayette Main Campus and Ohio State University. I will list my statistics, and anyone (hopefully educated guess) with knowledge and experience is welcome to comment on my perceived chances of: 1) winning NROTC-Navy Option high school scholarship this year, and 2) gaining acceptance to the above 5 schools. Purdue and Michigan are direct entry schools (apply specifically to college of engineering). The weak part of my package is my ACT English score. NROTC super scores, and only considers Math and English portions of the ACT.
