I suggest you post your question at [United States of America Service Academy Forums - Powered by vBulletin](http://www.serviceacademyforums.com), in the ROTC or USNA forums. There are many experienced and helpful posters there.

You are taking good classes and your gpa is trending up, so that’s great. Try to get on Varsity sports teams and into positions of leadership ie class president, team captain. Just my humble opinion; I haven’t been part of the NROTC community for very long - my son just received an NROTC scholarship, so I 1st heard about and started learning about the process in May of this year.

Best of luck!

In addition to the list above, in my freshman year, I was a member of the Chess Team and the Ultimate Frisbee club. Also, in the summer between my freshman and sophomore years, I volunteered in a hospital’s messenger department. This year, I am also a member of the Chess Club, a member of the Future Business Leaders of America chapter, a host at multiple school open houses, and I also helped in the School Toy Drive. Over the summer, I intend on attending the Navy Sports Camp for swimming and go to Nicaragua for a mission trip. Also, I received a 184 on the PSAT.
