NROTC Scholarship

My whole life I have known I want to be in the Navy. I want to go to Embry Riddle in Daytona for a counter terrorism major. My only issue is Embry Riddle is a private school which is very expensive ($27,000 a year) so I decided I want to try and kill two birds with one stone by getting the NROTC scholarship. I am going into my senior year of high school, and my GPA and SAT are pretty low(3.0; M-510; R-580; W-550) but I have taken six AP classes and passed all of the exams as well as the class itself. Also I have done a good amount of community service which I'm still doing, I also have had a internship at Johnson Space Center and I am currently trying to get a internship at NAVAIR. I am in a Aerospace Institute program in my high school, I've taken the class all four years. My questions are:
--Do I have a chance of getting a scholarship?
--Is the NROTC scholarship very difficult to recieve?
--What is the admissions of NROTC really looking at?
--What should be my plan for making my application look better?

is this your program: [B.S</a>. Homeland Security Degree Embry-Riddle, Daytona Beach](http://www.erau.edu/db/degrees/bs-homelandsecurity/) ?

the navy is looking for engineers primarily, so you might have a hard time getting a scholarship. what kind of leadership roles have you participated in?

I was thinking that counter terrorism was something that NROTC would be looking into. For leadership I have coached on a flag football team, I also have been a varsity wrestler for three years, and most likley next year as well. I captained the team last year as a junior and plan on doing the same next year.
