My son is applying for the NROTC scholarship (Marine option). He has applied to TAMU and is OOS. My question is… if he is offered Blinn Team rather then straight to TAMU, could the NROTC scholarship still be used since he will also be taking classes at TAMU? (Blinn is taking classes off campus as well as on campus at TAMU and you are treated as a TAMU student). Or would he have to go to his second choice school? He has good stats and all… we just know it’s not easy to get an acceptance to College Station.
