NSA Stokes Program - 2014

What are yours? Lead by example; not by curiosity.

My stats aren’t that great. Not impressive enough to mention really.

I’m sure they are just looking for the best applicants (minority or non-minority).

GPA: 3.83
ACT composite: 29
Top 20% of class
CS major to mid-tier state U

I’m not applying for the program, just kind of curious on how competitive the NSA is to get scholarships from.

GPA: 3.91 (4.2 un-weighted)
ACT: 28
Valedictorian
Computer engineer major at Oklahoma Sate University - in the Honors College
Graduated from a branch of the Oklahoma School of Science and Math with AP Calculus AB & BC and AP Physics B & C: Mechanics my junior year.
Now in my senior year, I am just taking concurrent enrollment classes.
Will graduate with about 24 credit hours.

Just like I said. My stats: not impressive.

While they may not be impressive to you, stats are not everything NSA is looking for, same to minority. They only hold advantage. Don’t doubt yourself.

I’m a high school senior - applied for CS

I’m a high school senior applying for EE.

GPA: 4.09

Have any of you received your confirmation emails yet?

Impressive. As for the e-mail, I have not revived mine yet. I was wondering when we were supposed to.

Received*.

I guess I’m the only one who didn’t take the ACT. Also, I’ve yet to receive my email.

I haven’t received an email either.

I’m also a high school senior going for CS

Okay, cool. I’m glad no one has.

Brief Stats:
2230 SAT (720CR-800M-710W)

I received a conformation e-mail when I submitted my application online but I assume that’s now what everyone is referring to.

Good luck to everyone! I’m very excited about this scholarship.

Yeah, I received the e-mail for the online resume but not anything else yet.

Anything new? Anyone heard back?
