So my boyfriend just received the NSF fellowship! We're both trying to end up in the bay area, but he was rejected from UC Berkeley EECS. They agreed to reconsider his application, but said that they may not make a final decision until after April 15th.
Has anyone else been in this situation? Anyone gotten accepted to Berkeley EECS after receiving NSF?
If so, how long did it take for them to notify you of a final decision? Does anyone know if they have any standardized procedures for this?</p>
