How prestigious is joining the National Society of High School Scholars?
More so than NHS? CSF (in California)?
I know none of these are that important by any stretch of the imagination, but I was just wondering if the 45 bucks (+5 bucks for late fee- it was due in April LOL) is worth it?
I mean, it can't, can it?
Also- I've heard people say that they're the "secretary" "president" etc. of NHS at their school- I've never seen that sort of opportunity at mine. Is it present at every campus?

I got the letter to join earlier this year and decided that if I had to pay for it, it wasn't going to be worth it. But that was just me personal belief...

Yea, not worth it. I would say NHS is above NSHS. If you have to pay to join something, always look into it before you join.

I don't think either one holds much value.

$45 could be much better spent. ;)

It's a scam. Similar to those "National Student Leadership Conference" things (a ripoff of NYLC)

Complete scam -- they PAY your school district for the names of everyone in the top 20% or something like that. Then they mail out appeals to you, hoping to get your money. It's as prestigious as say, being left-handed.
