I got this mail today, did anyone here get it? Anyone know about it?

I got it too anvesh, i think its a bit of a scam though… it just seems like an organisation that charges you to put your name on some sort of bogus honor list

Have you looked at their site?

[NSHSS - The National Society of High School Scholars - Inspiring youth to become a positive influence in the world](http://www.nshss.org/)

We got one too…and I put it in my recycling garbage.

I just got one too…it was in my spam folder.
Thanks for thr link f16p, deleted the email :)

I got an invitation too and I didn’t even graduate from high school in the us, I guess they got my email from the college board or something like that

i got a letter, not an email…yeah, they said that they got my contacts from CB.

I received the invitation too; they said they had used the College Board’s Student Search Service. Many websites say NSHSS is a scam, while others say that it’s a legal organization which is not very well-known. Is joining the Society worth it?

Don’t join in. It’s just a waste of money. You get no accolades whatsoever for being part of the society, as anyone who looks it up will know that you simply paid a fee to say you belonged to this bogus organization. Join something legit like NHS or something if you want to be part of an honors group.
