<p>Heyy guys I received a letter from NSHSS ( National Society for High School Scholars ) yesterday telling me that I am selected to a be a part of this society but I ain't got a clue what it is .. Can anyone please enlighten me up ??</p>

<p>JainAman14…No, it is absolutely not worth it to join. Any organization that wants to honor your accomplishments by charging you $70 to send you a certificate and an ID card is a scam, and in my opinion you should ignore it.</p>
<p>As part of the ongoing scam, NSHSS seems to have respresentatives monitor NSHSS-related postings on boards like CC that will try to convince you it’s really a great organization to belong to…kinda similar to a post on your thread here. Maybe it’s just a coincidence that the “supporting” post comes from a CC member with…1 total post. Hmmm. You’re an intelligent person JainAman, don’t get suckered.</p>
<p>BTW…if you search through CC you’ll find plenty of other threads on NSHSS with the same pattern repeated - common sense members telling students to not waste their money and the occasional low-count poster telling them it’s “great”.</p>
