I already know the National Student Leadership Conference isnt really worth the money and wont help me with college. I was just wondering, if i get a letter from them saying ive been selected to represent my school (with the actual name of the school)..does that mean that like a faculty member nominated me or do they just randomly choose people? It'd be kind of an honor to be nominated by someone at school, even though i havent any intentions of going (i dont have the money and id rather take drivers ed:D)

Actually for the young congressional thingy(don't remember name) i was picked by my global teacher. It's price and everything was different than nslc, but im thinking they're all in the same boat right?

Oh, yeah, I was nominated for that National Student Leadership conference too. I've gotten the same package of info 3 times in the past few weeks. It looks cool, but I'm not going to go because it is so expensive.

so if you get it it means you were nominated, they dont just randomly send it?

I am pretty sure its random. I got a packet in the mail too.

Yeah, it's random. I got the packet a few times over the year.
