<p>Semi-finalist for China! I recieved my email about three days ago and my interview is on the 13th. The letter was pretty vague though, I haven’t heard anything about bringing a parent. I’m sure everyone else’s letters will be coming soon! Good luck</p>

<p>Thanks soresubject =] it really is strange because almost everyone here have been notified through email. I’ve been reading mine over and over, and besides the location and time, there are no other instructions! I’ll just bring a parent along and hope for the best. Anybody have any tips they feel like sparing? Also, how do you know which program you got accepted into?</p>

<p>That’s funny i got mine in e-mail too and my interview is on the thirteenth is your’s in hartford, CT at Christ Church Cathedral as well.</p>

<p>Leigh, I meant that email is typical, and getting a letter through the mail (like I did) is a bit strange (sorry if this confused anyone). My interviewer didn’t mention anything about what program I am a semi for, so I’m kind of nervous. I’m in western PA.</p>

<p>Interview Tips:</p>

<p>If you’re nervous before the interview, eat a banana about 30 minutes before, it calms your nerves.</p>

<p>Take a bit of time to articulate your thoughts, don’t just blurt out whatever first comes to mind.</p>

<p>Have nice posture!</p>

<p>Don’t mumble, speak clearly.</p>

<p>Just be yourself - kind of cliche, but needs to be kept in mind.</p>

<p>I’m in Manhattan, and my brother and I both got emails about semi-finalist interviews on Friday evening. We got exactly the same email even though we applied to different trips, so I’m not sure when we find out! I’m excited for the interview and to hear more about the program!</p>

<p>Still nothing in Florida as far as I can tell from what people on the various boards are saying. I think someone from NC said elsewhere that they had received an email today, so obviously there are still people being notified in a positive way. At this point, I don’t want to go to the mailbox, as the deadline for receiving a rejection is closing in FAST.</p>
