<p>so… let me this straight. NSO has its own fee that’s not included in the tuition? geez.</p>
<p>if i recall correctly, this also helps to take care of your meals until the meal plans start (at the beginning of classes); since frosh don't generally know where to go to find food, this keeps you going when you're just getting accustomed to campus.</p>
<p>man i'm gonna warn you that it's gonna suck eating at the dining halls during nso. All of the freshman class is crowded into hill and the lines go on forever. Don't worry though, the crowd gets a lot better but the food gets kinda worse</p>
<p>I think they charged $180 last year for NSO meals</p>
