Is anyone going to attend NU Bound. Also I got a question, is achieving a 3.0 Gpa in the new college of humanities hard?
probably not going to attend because it seems as it is full pay and there is no guarantee by neu for transferring back if you don’t have the 3.0… to risky imo
D strongly considering…as more information comes out, seems like a great place to spend a year. regarding grades, sounds like a lot of support is provided by the NCH staff. 3.0 feels like it will be very attainable (88% of nu bound kids were accepted in the past, per one of the info sessions). housing seems solid and guessing all kids from nu in, nu bound and nu immerse will be in chapter spitalfields together.
My daughter is strongly considering this as well. Any idea how transfer students assimilate into the student body? And how housing in Boston will work?
NU Bound will be in the transfer orientation program like other transfers. And they’ll need to find housing off campus…there are a ton of great options that the school will help with.
Did your daughter end up attending NU Bound? My daughter was just accepted into NU Bound and I am trying to find others that are attending this year to see if they are glad they went with NU Bound.
Are you aware of any links to recording of the info session? I have not been able to find links to any info sessions about NU Bound.
Thanks
Does anyone know the acceptance rate for NU Bound compared to the traditional Northeastern acceptance rate?
I looked around the NU posts but couldn’t find this information.
There’s a Facebook group for prospective NUBound 2026 parents. They might have some insights?
I wouldn’t think there is a separate acceptance rate for NU Bound, because students don’t apply directly to NU Bound, it’s just offered to some applicants who applied to Northeastern.
