NU Chances?

After a long college search and a campus visit, I decided that Northwestern was my first choice. However, I already saw a lot of my friends with better credentials than me get deferred and rejected from other schools, so I'm getting a bit concerned. :[

I'd really appreciate it if you guys would chance me, that way I have a mindset of where I stand so I can prepare myself for Judgement Day.

Also, should I send in my SAT II scores? They're kinda low in my opinion. Would the benefits of having SAT II scores be greater than the less-than-stellar scores?

Thank you!

P.S. Happy New Years! :)

With those test scores and gpa you’re definitely on par for NU. Comparing yourself to your friends is probably like splitting hairs.
Sat2s are fantastic but u got a 35 on the act that’s great. You do have a lot of 4s that won’t count for anything at nu in terms of credit.

I’d say you have a decent shot. Nobody is a shoe in!

I meant aren’t fantastic btw

You also took a lot of APs which will help you with your lower gpa. I took 12 APs and had a 3.7something too but that was 4 years ago so read into it what you want.

You’ve got a very solid shot. The 34 ACT is strong, and your curriculum appears to have been extremely challenging.
I wouldn’t bother with the SAT2s, as they are not stronger than the ACT. Your
ECs are not great, but they might prove sufficient.
Good luck!
