NU ED responses yet anyone?

Yeah, now you can’t quote me on this one… but I believe there is a more senior member that reviews all the applications for secondary purposes and makes notes on it. Pretty sure there are more readers somewhere in that process, but I believe the senior and residential advisors make the final decision.

Okay, just wondering because I was told by an assistant director that she would look for my application and review it herself. I met with her on my overnight… But she could have just been saying that. My fingers are crossed that she reads it… I’m probably wayyy off though.

can anyone sleep at night? I get so anxious/nervous every time I think about finding out…
btw ED to Medil

i’m really really hoping that we find out by the 15th somehow.

i’m really really hoping we find out BEFORE!!!

Same, if they’re mailed on the 15th, I’ll die of anticipation. :D

Maybe the email is simply to let us know they’ve been mailed?

Can you imagine the torture?

Getting an email on the morning of the 15th.

Sender: Northwestern University
Subject: Your Admissions Decision
Snippet of Message: Joey, we are pleased to inform you that…

Body: Joey, we are pleased to inform you that your admissions decision has been mailed and you are likely to receive it in 1-2 business days.

Or something to that effect. I would die.

Ohmygosh…Especially if that was the only snippet of message.

That would kill me!

I’d be like, I live in Texas… See that letter in five days! Haha

@crazygood31 - BLEH.

Maybe I’ll just get my mom to check my email for me… =)

im guessing that you guys already thought of calling the office for the result…just too nervous about it

I’ll be honest, I’m going to be crushed if I don’t get in. :/

Especially after all this agonizing…

call the office for our results? can we do that???

OH DANG.

Now THAT would be one intense phone call.

nutter: i don’t see why not…it just would be incredibly uncomfortable…actually maybe northwestern doesn’t want to burden the people taking the calls with giving the bad news so mb not

HAH i wouldn’t actually do it, i’m waaaaaay too scared. still, if i don’t have something by the 15th i know whose number i’ll have on speed.

Northwestern Admission Policy

Par #5:

If an applicant calls the undergraduate admissions office early to ask for the decision of his or her acceptance, the result would be an automatic rejection.

I can’t even take AP grades by phone, hahaha.

We will know by the 15th. I’m almost 100% positive. They wouldn’t make themselves the only ED school where that happened, it would look horrible.

OH HOLY **** silverzc413 THANK YOU. i’m embarrassed now that i even thought about it. WAH.

agreed, crazygood31, they wouldn’t dare. i just wish they would be in my mail slot earlierrrr…

^You realize I was joking right? LoL. But in all seriousness they probably would be ****ed still.

Well, if I don’t have it on the 15th, I will definitely call and just ask them was I supposed to receive some sort of online correspondence and slowly meander towards the topic of my decision, ha.
