What do you mean by that?

What do you mean by that?

I think we’ve probably just been talking to college kids working at the office who don’t know anything.

We need the number of, like, someone in charge. They’ll know.

i e-mailed my regional guy, hes the associate director of admissions, and he said that we’ll be notified by both regular mail and e-mail.

^^ Thanks JP821, what region are you applying from?

Long Island, New York (NYC Suburb)

the suspense is killing me

do u think there is still a chance for tonight… like in half an hour (6 pm evanston time)???

the offices close at 5 their time.

@Lima - Dean of Admissions!!

Jk. That probably would not go over well.

I’d venture to say we’re not going to get anything tonight… sigh

i thought the decisions came out at 6pm last year…

I just read on another recently updated thread (Sent ED Apps…) that NU will be deferring this year… Any word on if that’s really true?

according to a few ppl its true i think.

Yes. NU will be deferring this year, at least that’s what I’ve heard.

ahh! it’s just comforting to know that there are so many of you that are pulling your hair out just like me!

oh poop. no hope for tonight. honestly? as awful as this sounds i’m almost resigned to the fact that decisions come out on the 15th. If they don’t, there’s gonna be hell to pay but as long as it’s no later than the 15th, i don’t think i’ll pull ALL my hair out:)

They are using deferral?

Great… I don’t like my odds. Oh well, I’ve decided that I probably won’t know until the 15th so just trying to keep busy until then lol.

Does the use of deferral help or hurt our chances? Or not affect them at all?

I think they deferred people last year too.

I heard decisions are sent this week.
Freaking out.

Personally, I’d rather they not employ deferral because I want to know whether or not I get in, not some wishy washy “maybe” answer. If I get in, I’d be happy (for the rest of my life); if I don’t get in, I’d be sad, but I’d move on eventually…

I believe they’ll be sent out this week too.

Now, what day? Who knows.

Hopefully not Friday. Hopefully tomorrow. (Or what if they were sent out today?)

i thought someone said we would get emails as soon as letters are sent out?!
