<p>Monday?? oh no… so close, yet so far. Gosh…I’m from Chicago btw. I’ll be majoring in Economics but pretty much it could change to anything in WCAS from bio to pysch. If I don’t get into NU I’ll probably end up going to U of I. I’m also applying to U of C and Notre Dame and some other safety schools but U of I would probaby be the winner lol</p>
<p>Great… everytime I get an email I start freaking out.</p>
<p>Hoping to be majoring in Mechanical Engineering maybe with a double major in Cognitive Science and some minor related to business. If I don’t get into Northwestern, I’ll be frantically submitting apps to Carnegie and Hopkins, if those don’t go through… University of Florida ftw.</p>
<p>OMG!!! The wait is killing me. Today some of my friends that are also applying ED to NU played this horrible prank on me and pretended that they got an email from NU. I believed them and my heart was almost pounding out of my chest and my stomach was in knots. Now I know how I’m going to feel when the actual letter/email comes, if I don’t die of stress beforehand.</p>

<p>It said on google “Server Full” when I tried for the past hour or so. It was only when I tried to get to a subset of this website that I was even let in!</p>

<p>Apparently the decisions this year were crazy hard… If you look at some of their ED threads A BUNCH of people with near perfect stats are being deferred and rejected… Anyone else scared?</p>

<p>heres a thought different from all the panic-ridden comments that have filled this 28 page (and growing) forum…</p>
<p>when the results come out, i would like to ask all of you to (whether you got in or not) to dedicate this forum to helping those in the future by posting your stats. this way others, like next year ED or RD applicants, can panic like we did by looking at our stats and rejections and acceptances. what do you think?</p>

<p>snail mail is just slang for mail that comes in your mailbox. After e-mail came into the world, people saw regular letters as extremely slow since emails take like 5 seconds to zoom through the interweb and pop up in your inbox and “snail mail” (aka by post) takes 2 days at least.

<p>The past two years the decision HAS come out on the Tuesday before the 15th.<br>
Hashani posted the stats from the last few years from the other thread but missed the edit on post #81 stating that in 2006 - 2007 the decision was posted on 12/12, a Tuesday not 12/13 a Wednesday. It was only a guess that is was a trend, oh well…</p>
