<p>If they plan on getting them to us in the mail by Monday, shouldn’t they have them ready to mail out, say, tomorrow?</p>
<p>I just feel like they’re purposefully making us think they haven’t sent out anything yet, and tomorrow we’ll all get big, fat acceptance letters in the mail tomorrow! :D</p>

You just reminded me of something.
When the guy told me we would receive it by Monday, I laughed and whined said, “Aww, isn’t that kinda vague?” in a joking kinda way.
And then he hesitated and said, “Well, tomorrow is FRIDAY…so…you know?”
At the time I thought he meant, it’s not that long, suck it up.
But now I’m thinking…</p>

<p>OMG IM SO JEALOUS OF BROWN and also a few of my friends applied to UMich and found out today that they got in and its like ><… <em>bitter congratulations because i want mine</em> hahhaa</p>
<p>news news!! Northwestern visited my school a few weeks ago, and I went to the meeting (they are like short, 45 minute meetings where you can hear from a college rep if you think/know you’re interested in that school). The guy who came from NU gave us all his card, which I just happened to remember after posting here a few hours ago. His name is Allen Lentino, card says he is “senior associate director of admission & financial aid.” I called and he was SUPER helpful and told me that they are MAILING DECISIONS TOMORROW and we should receive an e-mail “sometime this weekend” with a link & method for how to check online. Of course… “sometime this weekend” is pretty vague, but… this means if you live in Illinois you’ll probably get your decision in the mail Monday, and an e-mail I think probably Saturday (Sunday seems unlikely).</p>

<p>All due respect, folks, chill the **** out. I understand, as does everyone else, that it’s your COLLEGE DECISION here, but I think we’ve all been fairly mature in life to this point in regards to being good students/good people. I think you have to be if you’re applying to NW, especially NW ED…with that said, you guys are having a total COME APART because Northwestern won’t tell you your final decision before the date they said they would. to reiterate, everyone understands that you want to know whether or not you got in BEFORE the afformentioned date that NW gave us, it’s no different than sneaking around in mommy’s closet a few weeks before Christmas(like now) to see what you’ll be getting. </p>
<p>Northwestern said December 15th, so don’t expect to know until …December 15th! Chill out guys! December 15th is early as **** by any standards, nine out of ten kids won’t know where they’re going until April or May or later.</p>

<p>NICE! Thanks for calling him wysteri! I think thats a much more reliable and informative response than I think we’d be able to get than by calling the admissions office 500 times. So I guess only thing left is to wait for school to be over tomorrow, then its just a matter of time…</p>
<p>ebright, while i do acknowledge that we could all act as mature individuals concerning the situation, what’s so wrong with having a little fun? I mean sure, for some the panic attacks might actually be unhealthy but I have personally had a lot of fun freaking out with all my fellow CCers :)! </p>
<p>Just because christmas is a month away, doesn’t mean you don’t cross off every day/wake up eagerly each morning hoping it’s christmas already! </p>

<p>My friend did indeed get into Dartmouth (I’m so insanely jealous. It was my top choice up until my NU visit) and another one got into Michigan. Everyone’s like: “DO YOU KNOW YET?”</p>

<p>But hopefully either tomorrow night (as in the beginning of the weekend) or sometime on Saturday. YIKES.</p>
