NU.in Program...Thoughts?

Anyone experience this program before?

Essentially it's a program that 500 students with International Interests are accepted to, but couldn't be put into campus housing or accommodated by the university I'm guessing? Similar to how Maryland College Park offered me admission Spring '14, NU.in is a program where these students study abroad their first semester, at NU approved institutions. Credits (17) are completely transferable back, where you are guaranteed housing in Spring '14 and introduced to the Boston campus through a spring orientation session. With Northeastern's cost hovering around 58k/yr (29/semester) the semester study abroad is as much as a regular semester at Northeastern.

Has anyone took advantage of NU.in? Had friends who did? What are your/there thoughts on it?

The locales are London, Australia, Greece, Ireland, and Costa Rica.

I'm mostly looking into London, so if anyone has headed to the UK please let me know how that went.

Sjosty26-there have been recent discussion. I bumped one thread which I and a couple of other parents posted our students’ experiences. We all felt our students thrived, the program was as it was presented and integration to main campus was smooth.
Most misinformation seemed to come from those who had not participated and was conjecture.

I went to London last year and can answer any specificquestions you have about it, sjosty26. I loved London and would absolutely make the same decision again.
