<p>Does anybody know what days the orientation and move in is set for? Is move in and orientation the same day? How long are they?</p>

<p>Specific info will show up under the Parent Resources link on the New Student Week page (when available). Last year they had info sessions for parents on Move-in Day and the day after that. They recommended that parents leave by the third day.</p>
<p>It's not at all necessary. Mine had to go back home (effing NSW began on a weekday, and my parents both work full-time...thanks, NU!) and didn't stay for anything past move-in.</p>
<p>My mom is trying to get a few days off from work during that time but the vacation schedule went around her office and three other people are off that whole week. Needless to say, she won't be in no matter what for two days. lol</p>
<p>The parent stuff is just a matter of mollifying the helicopter parents anyways. ;) My dad went to some of the info sessions, but it's hardly a necessity.</p>
<p>And NSW is the weeklong orientation time, and it kinda rocks. Get excited.</p>
