NU or Loyola?

<p>Okay, that might seem like an obvious choice, but... here's the deal. It's mostly a financial issue.</p>

<p>Loyola: full tuition covered, ~5k in loans, leaving ~5.5k out of pocket. I would move off-campus after two years, so the last two years would be essentially free. Total costs = 11k.</p>

<p>Northwestern: 27k grant, ~7k work study/loans, leaving ~18k out of pocket. I would move off-campus after the first year, leaving the last three years at ~8k/year. Total costs = 42k.</p>

<p>We have no college savings account, next to nothing in the bank, and an income of right around 100k. I have to decide... by this Friday. As of today my parents are pushing me towards Northwestern... but I'm completely torn. I'm also easily persuaded, which might be a problem.</p>

<p>Oh, and I’m leaning towards biology, although I’m still not 100% sure what I want to do with that, or if I want to take on a second major (I probably will, just don’t know which one).</p>
