NU or USC (half tuition) or Duke?

So i got half tuition to USC as a NMF and at NU or Duke i would pay full tuition. money is a factor but it does not have to be the deciding factor. I am really unsure of what i want to major in but i am interested in film, writing, animation, plus political science or psychology, i would also want to take business-type classes as well. i am very undecided. i got into the Northwestern College of Communications and was invited to be a Communications Century Scholar there. At Duke and USC i was accepted to their arts and sciences schools, rejected from the USC film school (prob because i dont have much experience)...

i want to take all factors into account. i loved all the schools campuses and people. i love the weather most in LA, then Duke, and dread the Chicago winters, but dont want that to prevent me from picking the right school if its NU.

what is your advice??

Overall, Duke is Northwestern’s equal academically but not in the fields of comm/film/animation. Being an NU Communications Century Scholar will carry incredible opportunities - hard to turn down. If you had been accepted to the film school at USC on 1/2 scholarship I’d consider the offer unbeatable. But you’ll be locked out of a lot of programs as a student in Arts and Science there. USC is also a very big place with 16,000+ undergrads. You’ll get attention heaped on you at Comm at Northwestern with endless more possibilities.

Take the Communications Century Scholarship at Northwestern and buy a down jacket.

All things being equal, I would go to Northwestern, but if you can save that much money, USC is not a bad option at all. I would choose SC
