<p>how is the polisci/int'l relations department at NU?</p>
<p>The political science department is quite good, though the advising is so/so. There is no int'l relations major, there is an int'l studies adjunct major. I actually dropped int'l studies b/c I wasn't pleased with the program, but I know tons of people from all majors who do like it.</p>
<p>i visited the campus and talked to a couple of professors..
the program seems to be pretty good, but not spectacular. the course offering isn't that plentiful (i think it's like 5 per level?)
but you do get smaller classes, which is nice.</p>
<p>The poli sci/international studies program isnt as good as some other midwestern schools (University of Wisconsin-Madison, UChicago, both of which has top notch programs) but its not bad by any means.</p>
