Which one would be harder to get into? Northwestern U WCAS Econ or Cornell AEM? On Cornell's website, they list AEM as the "most selective 4 year undergraduate business program in the nation". But NU also climbed up the ranks to higher than Cornell.

I was in the same situation as you a year ago. You might want to take into account that Cornell AEM is a pretty easy major relative to the rest of Cornell's offerings. NU Econ is pretty quantitative compared to most programs and is likely to be more difficult than AEM. It really depends on what you want.

They're about the same difficulty to get into probably... Not too sure since I just did ED to NU and didn't bother applying to AEM at all.

Do they actually say that? Do they pretend Wharton/Sloan just don't exist? ;)

yeah it's on AEM department's website. Maybe it's true? I don't know...I think last year only 86 people were accepted.

86 were accepted or 86 enrolled?

I think enrolled, cause I remember reading 86 incoming freshman.

Since Cornell AEM is housed in the Ag school, NYS students get a nice tuition discount. That probably contributes to their selectivity. In which state do you live?

north dakota..so instate people have higher chances I guess?

what is wcas for northwestern?

WCAS = Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences

Just apply, wait and see what happens.
