I took the ACT for the first time in December (mid junior year) and got a 30. I was planning on using this first score as a base and improving from there. I know I can improve by a couple points in the next year by the fall of my senior year, but am shooting for a 34. I know I can do it if I have the right preparation.

What kind of things should I do to improve an already decent score? Practice tests and a quality ACT book are already in the works, but any other pro-tips would be much appreciated!
