Nuclear Engineering Minor.

Anyone know the number of students in it each year, and how much it is connected with the graduate school?

In general for science and engineering majors, the profs who teach in the graduate program also teach some undergraduate classes. Doing undergraduate research with these professors, overall getting awesome grades, and establishing a good rapport with your profs and hence, a good “reputation” within the department all make the doors to graduate school open a bit easier…

Some of the “minor” requirements are pretty fuzzy at UMD. I’m not sure that you are required to officially “declare” a minor at all, so getting #'s would be tough. They can tell you how many majors there are, but even this number is kind of a moving target.

I assume you’ve already seen the website for the minor, but: [Minor in Nuclear Engineering, Current Students, A. James Clark School of Engineering, University of Maryland](http://www.eng.umd.edu/current/nuclear-minor.html)
