If you've been accepted into NUin for this fall, what locations are you considering? #1 choice and #2 choice??
If you've sent in a deposit, what location did you select?

At this point, we're trying to figure out the $$$$.

Tell your kid to join the Northeastern facebook group (the unofficial class of 2018). A lot of people are posting their NUin locations. London, Australia, and Greece seem to be the more popular ones. I can’t shed light on which is better, but that is the trend and the place you would want to go to get more information. The response times there are amazing, over 100+ total posts/comments a day with 3,000 people. I would recommend joining in general if you are most likely going to attend.

For Nuin, the sites are organized by major to ensure that classes will be available and easily meet NU requirements. Most majors do have more than one site to choose from, but some sites fill up and are closed to further enrollment. My D was thinking about both Greece and Ireland, and the Dublin program filled while she was still considering it.

On YouTube each student posts a short slide show of their experience as part of a class requirement. So on YouTube search NuIn Greece 2013 for example and you’ll find lots of student videos. Since each student has a different service learning experience and differing use of free time/travel its good to look at several for the sites you are considering.
