Can people who have attended northeastern answer these questions? I want to know first hand. 1. How is the NUin program? was it a good experience? 2. Is it hard to transition back into northeastern afterwards?

also what is the common opinion of the NUin students by northeastern students?

I will answer the last question, once you come back and take class at Northeastern nobody will know or care that you were in NUin. It is the type of place where people come and go a lot (abroad, coop, etc.), so your not being there the first semester will not stand out.

i talked to my friend who went to Ireland and is majoring in nursing. she said that even though it’s the same price as the actual tuition, it’s more expensive in the sense that it’s so much money to go home and visit during the holidays. she said it was difficult only because she missed her family, but other than that, it was a life-changing experience and she loved it.

Pretty surprised to see ED applicants getting admitted to NUin - since ED is binding and you did not apply specifically to be in the program. Also, NUin is a more expensive first six months and many people do not attend because of that.

@kiddie oh no if you’re accepted into the NUin program it becomes non-binding
and yes! i got into northeastern but thanks for all the replies!!!

Hi! I was accepted to the school of business through the NUin program! I was wondering how past students liked their experience? I was thinking of studying in London! I also had a couple of questions.

1) how was it coming back to Boston after being abroad?
2) what is the room selection process when returning in the fall?
3) did you have a lot of free time to take your own trips on the weekends?
4) do specific housing options fill up more quickly than others?

I think that’s it for now. Look forward to hearing some responses!
