<p>^ well Oxy is still relatively unknown here. when I told people I applied to Oxy, the common response is: what? dental school? why?</p>
<p>Well we have to remember that Oxy is a liberal arts school, and those have bad enough name recognition in the states.</p>
<p>I love that not everyone has heard of Oxy. It's not a brand name like UCLA or USC. People don't immediately think of a logo or a sports team at it's mention. Then, when people I mention it to actually look it up, they have a pretty sweet impression.
I just need to hear my decision now...</p>
