I know that Yale just did away with its requirement of 3 sat IIs and now only requires two of them. What top schools still require 3 sat IIs?

I know Harvard does.

when i applied last year i think northwestern wanted three.

three are required for the Integrated Science Program or if you were home-schooled. Otherwise, two are required.

Many require math 2c.

How is math 2C ?

easy if a. you're good at math and b. if you work quickly

Hopefully, the test is curved a bit.

who requires 2c? and does anyone have a list of the schools that require 3?

i've heard harvard is the only ivy that requires 3

MIT used to require 3 but they switched to 2 for next year, just one math and one science...

Would u guys take Math 1c if already taken 2c? I got 760 in 2c but I was wondering if I should the 1c also?

do you know of any schools that acutally specifically REQUIRE the math2c? if you are not oging into anything science/math related, dont most of the schools just ask for any 2 satIIs? is preference given to the math2c?

Georgetown and Princeton are still requiring 3 SAT II's and those along with Harvard are the only ones left that require three. I am not aware of any college that requires Math IIC unless you are applying to their science/engineering programs. Stanford, which does not require II's but recommends them, also recommends that Math IIC be one of them.

doesn't hopkins require three as well?

here is a link to a website that lists number of required/ recommended SAT II's:

"doesn't hopkins require three as well?"

Hopkins does not require any II's, but it "recommends" three.

I thought a student with following SAT IIs

Math 2C, <science>, <history lang=""></history></science>

is preferred over Students with the following combination of 2 SAT IIs

2 <science></science>

or

2 <history lang=""></history>

or

Math I, <science></science>

or

Math I, <hist lang=""></hist>

or

<science>, <hist lang=""></hist></science>

well if hopkins says it recommends 3 is that just a nice way of saying they require 3

UCs require math 2c.
