I'm going to be over 90 units after this fall, but will still be taking prereqs in the spring. However, those prereqs only total 10 units and I want to be a full time student in the spring.

I'm better off taking a 2+ unit nontransferable class in order to maintain full-time status as opposed to taking another UC-transferable class, right? I already have too many units, right? I already submitted my app so I think in January, I'll update my spring with a nontransferable class?

To the extent of my knowledge, only 90 or so units will transfer so you maintain your junior standing your first quarter/semester at UC.

Don’t quote me on this though, someone get this man/woman a definitive answer!

Don’t worry about it you can go over 90 units, as long as none of those units are from a 4 year Univ. I’m assuming you only have CCC credit so you are fine you can have as many as want, only a certain number will transfer to UC but you can have as many as you want.

Yes, you can go way over 90 units as long as they are all from cc. I have over 200 units, many transferable, many are not, and just had my TAG approved for UC Davis for next fall. They will figure out which ones are transferable or not. In the spring take the remaining classes you need and whatever else you want, transferable or not, it doesn’t matter AS LONG AS THEY ARE ALL CC CLASSES.

Yes, what everyone else said. Sadly I went to a 4-Year so I have to be verrrrrrrry aware. I think I’m at 120 units already.
