number one choice

What is everyones number one choice that they think they can get into reasonably?

My number one choice is St. Paul's School!! :D I love SPS, the students are so friendly, the faculty was incredibly friendly and intelligent, and the facilites and campus were amazing!!!!! :D Also, I LOVE the humanities program!!!! :D

Only 2 days left until March 10th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

andover, but i think exeter is pretty cool too. don't know what i'll do if i get into both...but that probably won't happen. i'll be happy with either

What does reasonably mean? My first choice is Exeter, but with a 20%ish acceptance rate, is it really reasonable for anyone? It's feasible that I could get in, but very, very far from a sure thing.

How about just "What's your first choice?"?

Other than legacies and the connected at a partciular schools, the same kids get in all the top schools. Like at my school which is a feeder school, the top URMs and athletes, very rich/big name, kids really advanced in math (linear algebra at Columbia) were fought for

SPSstudent,
Is it possible to take 6 couses per term as a freshman? Also, if I ever wanted to, could i take two languages? I searched for a long time for this information, but I could not find it on the SPS website, the course catalouge online, or the SPS student schedule, although it did have a sample schedule that just had A-F blocks. Thank you for your help :)

my first choice is choate .the school most likely i will get accepted to as my number one choice is peddie.

PHILLIPS EXETER ACADEMY

is my top choice. To be honest, I'm not sure if I will attend any boarding school next year. I would be very, very happy with Andover, Hotchkiss, Deerfield, or Exeter.

One acceptance is all I need. Preferably, it will be from Exeter. But, Andover, Deerfield, and Hotchkiss -- feel free to accept me. :)

andover, but exeter is cool too

I'd like to know this as well.

Is it possible to take six courses per term as freshman and two languages? Yes, you can e.g. humanities, mathematics, science, music/art, Language 1 and language 2. ( If you do Classical Honors the languages would have to be latin and greek but you can combine a classical with a modern language or do two modern languages. It isn't done often but it can be done. Some of the best students take classical honors i.e., 6 courses per term )

woot, ya u said it chaostheory ;)

Andover...
