Nursing at Penn!

Hi, I'm an Indian male who's interested in doing nursing at UPenn and ulimately become a doctor. (and no, I don't plan on transfering to Wharton or CAS). Ever since the beginning of my high school career i've been interested in doing something medically related (research, nursing, doctor), but I've finally decided that I would like to be part of Penn's nursing program. I've decided to do this because I feel that I would benefit better from doing clinical work at the nursing school rather than reading and studying most of the time at CAS. My ultimate goal is to become a nurse, practice for a few years, and hopefully go to Med School.

However, I do not know whether my medically oritetned activies would suffice for Penn's nursing school.

I've worked at the hospital during my freshman year, and done medical related research during my sophmore and junior summer. I will be doing clinical work this summer with sickle cell amenia patients.

Before applying ED, are there any activities that are geared towards nursing that I can do?
What type of SAT scores would I need for Penn's nursing school?
Thanks

no for nursing there going to want to see strong science backround with clear passion that u want to do nursing, aka jobs at the hospital, your research… all those things… since penn nursing is relatively easy to get into, there gonna wana see passion… apply ed and since ur a guy it will help ALOT…

Thanks, what would I need on the sat? And are admissions rolling?

no i dont think they are admission rolling… for nursing go for a 2100+ and over 700 in science sat 2’s … do well haha

BUMPPP, any other opinions would be appreciated
