Since we live on the West Coast we don’t know much about some of these schools. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Curry College
MSPHS
Simmons University
Emmanuel College
Umass - Boston
Salve Regina University
From those programs I would pick Simmons and Umass because of location, established programs and ease on getting part time jobs and internships at Boston hospitals. Emmanuel is equally great location but a newer program so I am not sure.
Curry very expensive, even after any aid.
MSPHS has had recent trouble with accreditation recently. Not a real college experience. However it is in great part of Boston with many opportunities. Ask a lot of questions.
Simmons is a women if that interests you.
Emmanuel - I do not know much about Nursing program.
UMass - Boston - Urban campus .
Salve Regina is stunningly beautiful near Newport RI mansions. Supposedly solid Nursing program.
Thank you for the advice. She ended up applying to Simmons, Umass and Salve and got into all 3. Still waiting for all the CA schools.
D has a friend at Salve who absolutely loves it. Agree with TerryTW that it is a beautiful campus!
