<p>I applied to UCI and was accepted. I got supplemental forms and I noticed that they had my major as "Undeclared". Then when I received my acceptance letter it said that I was accepted as an undeclared major. Is that normal or should I call the school and have them change my major to "Nursing"? I know I have to apply to get into the program but I was just curious.

<p>If you were accepted as undeclared, that means you weren’t accepted into the nursing program. You can try calling though.</p>
<p>Nursing major is very competitive, so the reason why your major is undeclared is because you didn’t get into the program. However, during SPOP you will be able to talk to your counselor and work things out. =]</p>
