Does any1 know if the biology/chem, etc for nursing students will take care of the pre-med classes?

I have no idea. I can tell you that premed requirements vary somewhat across med schools, but many of them comprise:

1 year of English
1 year of General Chemistry
1 year of Organic Chemistry
1 year of Physics
1 year of Biology

1 year might be three quarters, or two semesters, or whatever, depending on your school. In all these classes - with the obvious exception of English - labs are required. Many schools will also require math at some level.

yes i know this, but thank you...can any1 answer my ques?

I feel a little silly. Didn't understand your question the first time around, sorry.

(Oh, and I have no idea. You might have to call med schools individually and figure it out.)

ya i might do that...thanks

It will differ by institution. For example where I went to school, nursing took chem 11 and 12, while premeds had to have chem 15 and 16 while in catalog both were listed as inorganic.

Usually the nursing candidates take separate courses from the medical students but it is school specific.

Oftentimes Nursing classes do NOT fulfill the premed requirements, which is why a lot of nursing students at Penn, which is the only school I can speak to, end up taking bio 101/102 and chem 101/102,the normal premed college classes.
