Nursing Program Admit Rate???

<p>Anyone know the admit rate from sophomore year to junior year into the nursing program for a student with a 3.0 GPA???</p>

<p>The Basic Requirements for the Upper-level Nursing Program:

  • 3.0 GPA
  • no Incomplete grades on transcript
  • minimum grade of C for all classes required for the nursing program</p>

<p>Once the minimum requirements are met, students are ranked according to their GPA. The GPA cutoff (which is made AFTER all the spots have been filled in the program) this year was a 3.4, which is about what last year’s was. So it’s unlikely (in fact, I’d say impossible) for a student with a GPA of 3.0 to be accepted into the upper-level program.</p>
