Are there any current nursing students at Northeastern that could share their impressions of Northeastern's Nursing Program?

Specifically,

How big are clinicals?
What is the co-op like?
What is the NCLEX pass rate?
Other impressions

Thanks

Anyone? PM me if you have info but don’t want to post :)

I don’t think any posters here are in Nursing, so you probably won’t get much info here.

I don’t know much about the program, but a few of my friends are in it and they’re pretty happy. It’s relatively demanding, the classes are standard science (Bio I, Anatomy/phys, etc), and nursing shifts can be long and tiring.

I’ve heard clinicals are kind of tough… mostly just long (like all day), but they’re good experience and they’re necessary for the degree. Co-op is typical nursing work–but you’re really at the bottom of the food chain since you’re an undergrad student working in a hospital, so lots of ***** work. Good news is you’ve paid your dues by graduation. Plus co-ops pay really well for nurses, and you can continue working part time while in classes, so it can help pay the billzz.

That’s really all I know… most of my friends are in their 4th or 5th year in the program and they’ve all stuck with it and still want to be nurses, so I’m assuming that’s a good sign.
