Nursing school - international students

Hey. I am an international student and I would like to apply for a nursing program. I am about to finish my prereqs at community college.
I would like to go to a University, which is good and close to a skiresort.

Any suggestions? thank you!! :)

Universities in Colorado, Utah, and Vermont?

Thank u! Yea I was thinking about that too. I already did some research. What do u think about Utah? Are there really so many Mormons? But they are nice people right?

Yes Mormons are a majority in Utah compared to other States. Overall, people would be nice and welcoming. Essentiallyit means the State is socially conservative and “dry” (no alcohol, although some finds its way even onto Utah college campuses :D)

oh really i didnt know that conservative and “dry”. This answer helps a lot! Thank you! I am right now in California finishing up my GED classes and then I want to transfer. Preferable somewhere closer to some good skiresorts. I have been to Tahoe and Mammoth many times, but the US has so much more to offer and i really want to explore a different state. So may I ask one more thing? What do you think about Colorado? how are the people? schools? etc?

Colorado is very different from Utah. You can buy marijuana for recreation legally as well as alcohol as long as you are of legal age. This is a new law and may attract young people.
Colorado Springs and Boulder have the two big universities in the State. Colorado Springs is more conservative than Boulder (Boulder is a great college town, regardless of politics). I don’t know whether they have a nursing school.
I know that UCDenver has a school of nursing and the city, while not a college town, is great and close to good skiing, but it’s mostly a commuter school.
UDenver (private) is a good school but I don’t know if they have nursing.
I seem to remember that Arapahoe (???) community college has a nursing program although not at the same level as what a 4-year degree would entail obviously (LPN vs. RN I think).

This helped so much! I just had a look on the UC boulder website. This seems like what i was looking for! I am in LA right now, and I need a break from a big city. Boulder seems very nice! Thank you so very much!!! I am sorry i have to keep my answer now short. it is 2.30 here Cali and I have class at 3 pm  - i gotta go!
