<p>What are everyone’s thoughts on the U of Alabama’s nursing school? Any reviews either positive or negative? </p>

<p>go into the nursing forum and read about it there. I was recently accepted to Alabama and I am majoring in nursing…brand new college and medical center accross the street for clinicals. Im hearing good things. pm me with anything you hear.</p>

<p>Bama has a very good nursing school with brand new facilities. </p>

<p>I know that Bama has an excellent nursing program with brand new facilities located across the street from the medical center.</p>

<p>The program has those robotic patients that exhibit various symptoms. </p>

<p>*The Simulation Center for Clinical Excellence, located on the second floor of the new facility, has six rooms, each containing a METI or Gaumard simulator for practice scenarios. </p>

<p>The simulators are life-like mannequins that can be programmed for various conditions such as stroke or heart attack and exhibit symptoms similar to live patients, enabling nursing students to gain critical experience before the stakes are too high.*</p>

<p>The students enjoy a 99% pass rate on the national nursing exam.</p>

<p>I’ve only heard positive things about the program…never any negatives.</p>

<p>I’ve also been accepted for next year and I’m going to be majoring in nursing as well… I’ve only visited once, but it was an incredible building! From what I’ve read/heard, it’s competitive (like most nursing schools!) but I haven’t ever heard anything negative about it… I’m excited about going there!!! :)</p>
