can anyone suggest any good DIRECT admission nursing programs (bsn) for undergrad? preferably universities that do not require letters of rec because its kind of too late in the year for me to ask my teachers for any :frowning:
i am so far already applying to sdsu, azusa pacific, and cal state long beach(not direct) for their nursing programs but i would like to branch out more.
also here are my stats
Weighted Academic GPA: 3.94
Unweighted Academic GPA: 3.46
Weighted Total GPA: 3.95
Unweighted Total GPA: 3.5
Weighted 10-12 GPA: 4.12
Unweight 10-12 GPA: 3.58

SAT 1:
Math: 700
Writing: 750
CR: 640

SAT 2 MATH 2c: 800
SAT 2 BIOLOGY: 800

so any universities that would be somewhat fittiing for these stats haha :slight_smile: and preferrably nothing TOO ridiculously expensive

you should apply for some privates because with your stats, you could potentially receive a lot of merit aid. i think you have a chance for UCLA or UC Irvine too

If you want to stay on the West coast look at Gonzaga and University of Portland along with the University of San Francisco.

Hmm… I’d suggest the better Cal State schools if they are cheaper. You should consider the UCs. They might provide a broader more rigorous education.

@frontpage: OP is asking about direct admit nursing programs. Only SDSU and CSU Fullerton are direct admits in the Cal state system. The rest are 2+2’s.

OP did you apply to CSU Fullerton? They offer both direct admit or 2+2.
