NUS: how tough to get in?

I HAVE GOT 94 % IN CBSE CLASS XII(SCIENCE STREAM) AND 10 CGPA IN CLASS X. ALSO 164 IN JEE MAINS .ANY CHANCES OF GETTING INTO NUS?? I ALSO HAVE A GREAT RECORD IN EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES.ANY CHANCES… I KNOW ITS A
LATE…

I think registrations have closed, you may try next year but the chances of you getting in are slim due to low Board percentage. No loss in trying. :stuck_out_tongue:
Also if you have any International Olympiad medal(for which you have to go outside India), you are admitted automatically irrespective of board percentage.
Recently my Physics teacher accompanied 5 students to NUS for Asian Physics Olympiad and 4 of them who won medals were automatically given letters of acceptance to NUS. The 5th one received an honorable mention so he wasn’t admitted.

Hey, I was hoping you guys could help me see my chances at NUS,
I’ve already applied,
CBSE 12th overall %- 97.8
Chem -100
Math -100
Phy -99
Bio&Eng-95
Besides I’ve given the SAT’s (got 1980, didn’t prepare much), and the SAT Subject Tests (Bio-750,Phy-750) and
Toefl -(118/120),
I got accepted at UC, Sandiego and LA but couldn’t get any scholarships, which I’ve heard is much more generous at NUS,
One last thing, I have a lot of EC’s (Music, Leadership, Oratory and Social Service),
So, How does it look?

I scored 92%(ICSE) in my 10th boards; 90% (ISC) in my 11th Annual Exam; 97%(ISC) in my 12th Boards with
Eng-98 Math-98 Biology-97 Physics-94 Chemistry-95. I am a national level Athlete and Basketball player. What are my chances of being admitted to NUS or NTU?

If I got a 10 CGPA in 10th and a 98% in 12th Boards, and am a KVPY scholar, how are my chances?
Also, SAT 2190 and Subject Tests 2400

Most of you sound brilliant. Why not apply to US universities? \

i have cleared NTSE, stood first in india in International OLympiad of Science organised by Silverzone, got 10 CGPA in 10th, got 97 in maths 95 in physics 95 in chem in 11th what are my chances for getting selected for NUS? i want pursue engineering in computer science
