What are the programmes y’all applied for?
Hey did you get in?
@parama I got rejected too.This is such a bummer
I really think this must be why so many of us are out. Is there anyone you know who got in??
I know a girl got into CS in May this year from my own city.
She had given SAT, Subjects and AP. I guess that is why she got in.
@parama even I had given sat, subject and ap but still didn’t get in. My ISC English screwed me sadly
So did you apply to US Universities too?
Hey guys, I’m a CBSE student, got 96% in boards, I applied only to NTU, really nervous lmaoo. I’m committed to University of Toronto meanwhile, wby guys?
Also, anyone get an update from NTU?
Hi there
Still no news from NTU . Hope to get outcome this week
Heyy I’ve applied NTU as well, they said by mid-august.
Which course have you applied for?
I have applied for CS.what about you.
I have applied for Data Science and AI, Econ, Mathematical and Computer Sciences and Mathematical Sciences.
I gave SAT , SAT subs, and AP Calc. I got 790 in subs, 5 in AP and even a decent JEE percentile. Plus my board marks were good including english. Why wouldnt they take me in then
@Mondol2345 which college? NTU or NUS?
@gandharvnagrani NUS
Did anyone hear anything from NTU yet?
Not yet
I would expect it to come tomorrow since their orientation for incoming freshmen starts on Monday and tomorrow is the last working day of the week. Otherwise, their website mentions mid-August for Indian Standard XI students.
Hey I got 88 in English 100 in math and 98 in physics chemistry and Cs in my ISC board exams…do I have a shot at NTU bsc chemistry?..or will my English marks prevent me from getting in?
well if orientation starts monday, then when are we gonna hear our decisions? And even if we do get accepted will we even have some time to accept the offer or not?
I had mailed them some time in June as our results were delayed and in the reply they said Indian students who have been offered a seat will most probably start in the second sem (Jan)
