I’m an Indian student studying in DPS RK Puram, 96.6% in my Grade 12 Board Examinations (95 Eng, 99 Math, 96 Phy, 95 Chem, 98 CompSci). I have two questions:
- Given the toughness level of the boards this year compared to previous years, do I have some or any chances at NUS/NTU for Computer Engineering(my first choice) or my other four choices? Or do they necessarily reject you instead of offering you admission in your other choices if you don't meet their cutoff?
- I have already secured admission in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), in School of Engineering. How do you recommend it in comparision to NUS/NTU? Should I consider this seriously?
Thank you.
@shivenmian Those are brilliant scores! Congratulations!!
I am an Indian CBSE student too … awaiting my results for NUS/NTU ( Got 96% in Boards )
did you get a reply from the NUS office of admissions regarding your acceptance ?
I have also applied for Computer Engineering ( first choice ). Haven’t received anything yet
Rejected by NTU so I guess no NUS either
@shivenmian @Aakash1104
i am an aspiring student of engineering. i want to desperately make it to NUS/NTU. i have been pretty decent in my studies. presently i am in 12th standard appearing for board in 2016-17.
i wanted to know that what are the realistic requirements set up by these univs for indian students.
i hope you can give me hard solid data rather than abstract terms like ‘very good’ ranks and percentage.
ps - if u guys make it to these univs. pls pls pls send me a complete profile of yours.
sincerly
