Nutrition Science in UC Davis

Can someone please tell me more about the Nutrition Science in UC Davis?
Thanks.

I recommend reviewing <a href="http://admissions.ucdavis.edu/academics/major_view.cfm?major=ansc%5B/url%5D">http://admissions.ucdavis.edu/academics/major_view.cfm?major=ansc</a> and contacting Vita Cooper for the best information. Professor Applegate is awesome in her field and I’d recommend you take a class from her if you come to Davis. I hope this helps.

Do I have a chance to be admitted to UC Davis on Fall 2008 if I'm from a community college with a 3.4 UC transferrable GPA, but at this moment I only have 23 UC transferrable Units? I'm signing a TAG, so I'll be completing 60 units on spring?

How do I improve my chance of getting into the Nutrition program?

With your GPA and the proper course work you should have a very decent chance of being admitted to our campus. For last couple years we have admitted all students with proper course work, units and a GPA of 2.8 or higher. It doesn’t seem like you will be eligible for he TAG agreement, however. We require that 30 transferable units be completed to sign an agreement. This doesn’t mean you can’t apply without one. As long as you have 60 units by the end of the spring 2008 term you are eligible for fall 2008.
