<p>FIrst, your chances are not linked to whether you express an interest in Econ or another potential major.
Second, you are a competitive applicant, with SAT II scores, GPA and a curriculum that are clearly more impressive than your ACT or your AP scores. ECs are fine; no more, no less.
If you catch their attention with a great essay, you will clearly boost your chances.

<p>Yeah your scores do my match everything else. 3s in Chem and Enviro are questionable and so is that ACT score for the #1 at your school. Does your school send a lot of kid to nu? I’d take it again if I were you to get in the 25-75% range. </p>

<p>Ecs are very northwestern I like those a lot. Maybe talk about microfinance more. There is a club on campus but is under-developed/growing. Your essays need to inspire. Econ major really doesn’t matter, you’re a dime a dozen. Good luck!</p>

<p>No my school is pretty crappy kind of in the boondocks. Maybe every 2 or 3 years, we’ll send a kid to a top 20 school.</p>
