NY colleges? Fordham?Columbia?Barnard

<p>Yeah , unfortunately I haven’t been able to tour Fordham but I will soon. An alumni from there told me that there was some curfew that apparently after 10 the opposite gender couldn’t be in the other gender’s dorm and that people weren’t really open to things there due to their religious beliefs ex:abortion,gay marriage. Another thing is that most of the student body is Caucasian and the alumni was African American and she said there was some racism towards her. & NYU doesn’t have a campus so that’s a huge deal breaker.</p>

<p>You cannot use one student’s opinion to judge a school, the curfews and restrictions maybe there but you will get it in other schools as well. After all, you come to college to learn, not only academically, but also how to handle different culture and races.</p>

<p>As a NJ resident, I would suggest looking at the public NJ colleges and see where your scores would let you fit in:
