So you realize that you are an OOS transfer and you will be paying full cost, right?

Your major would be Communications; as an “upper” classman, the “Pre” courses should have been completed.

The UC’s have agreements with the CC’s in California, not with every CC that is OOS. You have to have a copy of each syllabus for each class you took. UC can choose not to accept a number of your courses; my husband did some college coursework as a HS student at SDSU across town, and a number of his courses didn’t transfer! That was just across town.

Contact Admissions at UCSB and ask them which courses will transfer before you apply. You may not qualify to get in if you don’t have the right coursework.
Priority for Transfers goes like this:
-California Community College Junior level transfers
-Junior level transfers from other California Colleges and UC’s
-OOS transfers.

Before you book your flight, you had better check if you meet the minimal requirements.
