<p>I saw this posted on another site. Apparently the AI has been modified to remove class rank and bump the index from 171 to 176. This is a must read for a student considering Ivy recruiting.</p>

<p>Interesting article. There is no real question as to who give the best financial aid - Ivyies hands down.</p>

<p>But the article glosses over this fact: many athletes (and all other prospective students) who qualify academically for the ivyies and who also qualify for financial aid will receive academic scholly offers from other schools which can be pretty significant. So, the cost advantage to the Ivy schools which the article postulates may not actually be as great.</p>
